TROFEUL SKI TRAB 2023
Aceste reguli se aplica la cursa de schi alpinism „ Trofeul SkiTrab 2023”.
Pentru Campionatul National aceste reguli vor fi completate cu Regulamentul sportiv de schi alpinism al FRAE.
1. Caracteristici ale competiţiei Trofeul SkiTrab:
Evenimentul este o competiţie outdoor cu pur caracter montan. Traseele sunt neamenajate si neprotejate, sunt in zona montana si folosesc drumuri publice, poteci marcate si nemarcate, pârtii de schi, pante cu înclinare mare si zone accidentate, etc. Diferite segmente ale traseelor trec prin localitati, zone împădurite si tăieturi, gol alpin (creste, culoare, abrupturi, vai, pasuni alpine, jnepenişuri, etc.). Toate acestea necesita experienţa si cunostinte speciale, cum ar fi :
2. „TROFEUL SKI TRAB 2023” :
2.1. Competiţie de schi alpinism, contracronometru, pe echipe de 2 persoane, pentru sportivi legitimaţi si amatori.
2.2. Editia a-IV-a cuprinde doua etape:
- Etapa 1: 18.03.2023
- Etapa 2: 19.03.2023
2.3. Etapa 1 conteaza pentru Campionatul National de Schi Alpinism 2023
3. Mediul de desfasurare / Trasee:
3.1. Trofeul Ski Trab se desfasoara in Parcul National Muntii Rodnei si foloseste ca trasee de concurs urmatoarele si nu numai: drumuri publice, drumuri forestiere, pârtii de schi, poteci turistice amenajate si neamenajate, localitati, pajisti, paduri, taieturi, gol alpin, creste, culoare, abrupturi, grohotisuri, vai, pasuni alpine.
3.2. Competiţia se desfasoara pe munte intr-un spaţiu neamenajat si neprotejat, de aceea exista un risc de rănire si/sau deces din pericole obişnuite pentru competiţiile outdoor. Acestea includ si nu se rezuma doar la: coliziuni cu autovehicule, alte vehicule, pietre, stânci, copaci, oameni, alte obiecte; căderi, alunecări, răni provocate de frig si/sau căldura, hipotermie, insolaţie, deshidratare, degerături, arsuri, rău de altitudine, căderi de pietre, avalanşe de zăpada, pietre si/sau pamant, furtuni, animale, incendii, efort fizic.
3.3. Traseele de concurs nu sunt închise altor participanţi la trafic (vehicule, pietoni, turişti, schiori, animale si alţii). Acest fapt atrage asupra participanţilor, obligaţia de a respecta regulile de conduita in trafic.
3.4. Traseele sunt marcate cu stegulete (15x15cm/20x20cm), cu inaltimea intre 40-70cm de diferite
culori, astfel:
- stegulete verzi si/sau albastre pentru urcare pe schiuri cu focile pe talpa schiurilor.
- stegulete rosii pentru coborari pe schiuri cu focile scoase de pe talpa schiurilor.
- stegulete galbene pentru sectiuni tehnice (creste, culoare) in urcare sau coborare pe picioare cu schiurile atasate pe rucsac.
- stegulete 30x40cm galbene cu dungi negre diagonale pentru zonele cu pericol ridicat.
3.5. Traseele pot suferi modificări din diferite motive, care includ condiţiile meteo si de zapada, siguranţa, restricţii de circulaţie, etc.
3.6. Fiecare participant are obligatia sa urmeze traseele oficiale, sa respecte indicatiile arbitrilor, sa nu foloseasca scurtaturi sau alte avantaje similare.
3.7. Traseele vor fi stabilite, parcurse, marcate si prezentate in saptamana dinaintea competiţiei.
4. Participanti / Categorii :
4.1. Pentru Trofeul SkiTrab: feminin (senioare+U20+U18), tineret (U20+U18), seniori masculin, master(40+), salvamont.
4.2. Pentru Campionatul National Echipe: feminin (senioare+U20+U18), tineret (U20+U18), seniori masculin, master(40+). In clasamentele pentru campionatul national vor intra doar echipele formate din sportivi legitimati la FRAE.
4.3. Va fi luată în considerare vârsta împlinită la data de 31.12.2023.
5. Echipament obligatoriu:
- Schiuri - minim 160 cm lungime pentru barbati si 150 cm pentru femei.
- Legaturi de tura
Greutate minima pentru schi + legatura: masculin 750g per buc. / feminin 700g per buc.
- Bocanci de tura - sportivii U18 nu pot concura cu bocanci full carbon.
Greutate minima pentru bocanc (coca + gheata int.): masculin: 500g per buc./ feminin: 450g per buc.
- Bete de schi
- Piei de foca - 2 perechi
- Trei straturi de haine pentru corp, cu maneca lunga, din care o haina de protectie contra vantului (geaca, etc.).
- Doi pantaloni lungi din care unul de protectie contra vantului (gen suprapantalon).
- DVA* - un transceiver pentru avalansa conform standardului EN 300718 (frecventa de 457 kHz). Fiecare sportiv trebuie sa poarte acest dispozitiv in contact direct cu corpul sau, pe sub haine si fixat pe pozitia emisie pe toata durata cursei.
- Casca*- conforma cu standardul UIAA 106 EN 12492 - casca alpinism.
- Lopata de avalansa - ( 0,2m x 0,2m minim ), fara modificari.
- Sonda de avalansa - de minim 240cm, fara modificari.
- Folie de supravietuire - de minim 1,80 metri patrati.
- Manusi - o pereche care sa acopere toata mana si care va fi purtata pe toata durata cursei.
- Ochelari de soare / ochelari de schi.
- Rucsac - cu capacitate suficienta pentru tot echipamentul cerut de prezentele reguli, cu doua prinderi
laterale/spate pentru atasarea schiurilor.
- Banderola sau caciula.
- Fluier
5.1. Echipament suplimentar pentru categoriile: echipe seniori, tineret, master:
- Coltari* - o pereche cu cel putin 10 colti din care 2 frontali. Curelele de siguranta sunt obligatorii. Daca coltarii nu sunt in picioare ei trebuie purtati in rucsac impachetati colt pe colt.
- Ham* care sa fie conform cu standardul UIAA 105, sa nu aiba modificari dupa iesirea din fabricatie.
- Kit de via ferrata sau doua bucle (lonje) de un metru, cu diametru minim de 8mm, legate de ham, avand la cealalta extremitate o carabiniera certificata UIAA de minim 22kN.
- Al patrulea rand de haine pentru corp cu maneca lunga si de marime potrivita competitorului. Trebuie sa fie un strat termic cu greutatea de minim 300g (pufoaica, polar).
- A doua pereche de manusi, termice si cu protectie impotriva vantului.
- Pansament compresiv fara modificari dupa iesirea din fabricatie.
Echipamentul obligatoriu si suplimentar trebuie adus la competitie. La sedinta tehnica din seara fiecarei zile se va anunta echipamentul final pentru cursa. Acesta va fi verificat la start si la sosire. Lipsa fiecărui articol de echipament va fi penalizata conform penalizarilor de la punctul 18.
6. Numar de concurs:
6.1. Numarul de concurs va fi primit in momentul validarii inscrierii, cu o zi inainte de competitie, dupa ce participantul a completat si semnat formularul de inscriere, declaratia de responsabilitate si a platit contravaloarea taxei de inscriere.
6.2. Numarul de concurs trebuie purtat si trebuie sa fie vizibil din fata pe toata durata cursei. Logourile plasate pe numar trebuie sa fie vizibile.
6.3. Numarul nu trebuie sa fie taiat sau modificat sub nici o forma. Nerespectarea acestui lucru va atrage dupa sine descalificarea.
6.4. Numarul de concurs da dreptul de a participa la pasta party care va avea loc dupa cursa.
7. Validare/ Briefing:
7.1. Validarea inscrierilor va avea loc cu o zi inaintea fiecarei probe intre orele 18.00 – 20.00 si dimineata inainte de cursa intre orele 08.00 - 09.00 (Partia Olimpica Statiunea Borsa - sala festivitati).
7.2. Sedinta tehnica va avea loc in seara dinaintea fiecarei probe cu incepere de la ora 20.00 (Partia Olimpica Statiunea Borsa - sala festivitati). Un scurt briefing unde se vor transmite eventualele noutati si modificari aparute, va avea loc inainte de start.
8. Cronometraj:
8.1. Cronometrajul se face la secunda.
8.2. Timpul echipei este dat de timpul in care cel de al doilea coechipier trece linia de sosire.
8.3. Timpul total este dat de suma timpilor obtinuti + eventualele penalizari.
9. Startul:
9.1. Etapa 1: sambata 18.03.2023, ora 09.30, Statiunea Borsa, Partia Olimpica.
9.2. Etapa 2: duminica 19.03.2023, ora 09.30, Statiunea Borsa, Partia Olimpica.
9.3. Zona de start se deschide cu 20 minute inainte de startul fiecarei probe.
9.4. Vor fi pregatite 3 sectoare separate:
- sectorul A - seniori masculin (inclusiv master si salvamont);
- sectorul B – tineret masculin (U20+U18)
- sectorul C - feminin (senioare+U20+U18).
Echipele isi pot alege pozitia de start in cadrul sectoarelor.
9.5. Cei doi membrii ai echipei vor intra in zona de start impreuna si doar prin portile de acces.
9.6. La intrarea in zona de start se va verifica DVA si echipamentul obligatoriu. Fiecare participant este bifat pe fisa de start. Cei care nu apar pe fisa de start vor fi considerati lipsa de la start si nu vor fi clasati.
9.7. Odata intrat, participantul/echipa trebuie sa ramana in zona de start.
9.8. Startul va fi deschis timp de 15 minute după ora oficiala de start. Cei care au pierdut startul si vor pleca in cursa in aceste 15 minute trebuie sa anunte la start. Cronometrajul se va face in acord cu ora oficiala de start. Participanţii care vor lua startul după cele 15 minute nu vor intra in clasament.
10. Puncte de control :
Pe traseu sunt amplasate puncte de control, obligatorii. Participantii care nu trec printr-un punct de control in ordinea fireasca (indiferent de motiv) vor fi descalificati. Numarul de concurs al fiecarui competitor poate fi notat in ordinea sosirii, la fiecare punct de control.
11. Timpi limita :
Timpii limita vor fi anuntati la sedinta tehnica, dar acestia pot fi modificati de organizator in cazul schimbarii vremii sau a conditiilor de concurs. Orice noua introducere sau schimbare a timpilor limita va fi anuntata inainte de start. Participantii trebuie sa treaca de punctele anuntate pana la orele fixate, altfel pentru propria securitate vor fi opriti din cursa si indrumati sa se retraga spre zone sigure.
12. Zone dificile:
12.1. Traseul poate include zone cu un ridicat nivel de dificultate.
12.2. Organizatorul poate solicita reducerea vitezei si/sau parcurgerea cu o atentie deosebita a acestor zone. Organizatorul poate amplasa marcaje care sa atentioneze o astfel de zona si/sau poate folosi elemente de siguranta (corzi fixe, etc.).
13. Desfasurarea cursei:
13.1. Culorile steguletelor de marcaj
- sectiunile marcate cu stegulete verzi/albastre trebuie parcurse pe schiuri cu pieile de foca pe talpa.
- sectiunile marcate cu stegulete galbene trebuie parcurse pe picioare, cu schiurile pe rucsac.
- sectiunile marcate cu stegulete rosii trebuie parcurse pe schiuri, fara piei de foca pe talpa. Bocancii
trebuie blocati in pozitia de coborare pe toata lungimea sectiunii, cu exceptia unui bocanc defect.
13.2. Marcajul amplasat este orientativ si directional, sportivii trebuie sa urmeze marcajul indeaproape atat in urcare cat si in coborare.
13.3. Depasirea
– un sportiv care este pe cale sa fie depasit si aude „partie” trebuie sa lase urma libera si sa permita trecerea sportivului din spate, exceptie zonele in care nu sunt permise depasirile (creste, zone cu corzi).
13.4. Porti/culoare de trecere
Daca pe traseu (in urcare sau coborare) sunt amplasate porti de fanioane/culoare de banda, sportivii trebuie sa treaca prin ele.
13.5. Sectiune pe picioare
- daca coltarii sunt obligatorii pe o sectiune pe picioare si un coltar se desprinde de pe bocanc, sportivul trebuie sa se opreasca imediat si sa il ataseze la loc.
- in cazul in care schiurile se desprind de pe rucsac, sportivul trebuie sa se opreasca imediat si sa le ataseze la loc.
13.6. Zonele de tranzitie
- toate manevrele necesare treceri de la un mod de deplasare la altul se efectueaza doar in interiorul zonelor de tranzitie, fara a calca liniile de intrare si iesire. Exceptie: blocarea partii din spate a legaturii se poate face in afara acestei zone.
- dupa intrarea in zona de tranzitie, inainte de orice manevra se aseaza jos betele; dupa incheierea tuturor manevrelor se pot ridica si betele.
13.7. Pieile de foca
Atunci cand nu sunt lipite pe talpa schiului, pieile de foca trebuie sa fie in interiorul costumului de schi sau in rucsac, pot fi vizibile dar nu trebuie sa atarne in afara acestora. Exceptie fac doar in zonele de tranzitie. Acest lucru se aplica si pieilor de rezerva.
13.8. DVA
Sportivi trebuie sa se asigure ca dispozitivul lor este in modul emisie si ca functioneaza normal pana dupa trecerea liniei de sosire si controlul echipamentului. Daca un DVA nu functioneaza normal, sportivul poate fi oprit imediat si descalificat.
13.9. Castile de urechi sunt interzise in timpul curselor.
13.10. Kitul de via ferrata/lonje
In sectiunile cu corzi fixe, unde asigurarea este obligatorie, sportivii trebuie sa fie atasati in permanenta la coarda fixa cu una din carabiniere. La punctele de ancorare intalnite, mai intai se ataseaza cea dea doua carabiniera peste punctul de ancorare si abia apoi se detaseaza prima carabiniera. Orice incalcare a acestei proceduri va fi penalizata.
13.11. Un oficial al cursei poate impune in orice punct al cursei ca un anumit articol de imbracaminte din echipamentul obligatoriu sa fie imbracat imediat.
13.12. Ajutorul din exterior nu este permis cu exceptia:
- schimbarii in orice punct al traseului a betelor si schiurilor rupte si a legaturilor defecte.
- alimentelor si bauturilor oferite in punctele special amenajate.
- asistentei oferite intre sportivi in situatii dificile sau de pericol. Juriul va tine seama de timpul in care s-a acordat asistenta.
13.13. Abandon / retragerea din cursa
- un sportiv care nu mai poate sau nu mai vrea sa continue cursa poate renunta din proprie initiativa sau fortat de o decizie a directorului de cursa, a inchizatorului de traseu sau a personalului medical/salvamont. Abandonul se poate face la unul din punctele de control, exceptand cazurile extreme.
- daca unul din membrii echipei abandoneaza, celalalt membru trebuie sa abandoneze si el si sa urmeze indicatiile date de voluntari.
- abandonul va fi anuntat de sportiv la punctul de control si la linia de sosire
- orice participant care abandoneaza va fi ajutat cu privire la cea mai buna varianta de retragere, dar este responsabil pentru transportul propriu, ruta pe care o va folosi si actiunile ulterioare momentului si locului retragerii, exceptie facand cazurile grave care nu permit deplasarea prin propriile mijloace.
13.14. Reguli specifice competitiilor pe echipe
- membrii unei echipe trebuie sa paraseasca impreuna un punct de control / zona de tranzitie.
- fiecare membru al echipei trebuie sa-si duca rucsacul cu tot echipamentul (cu exceptia schiurilor).
- un membru poate duce doua perechi de schiuri daca rucsacul are doua sisteme de prindere.
- este interzisa folosirea corzii de remorcare in primele 15 minute dupa start, pe coborari si in sectiunile anuntate la sedinta tehnica.
- daca nu este folosita, coarda de remorcare trebuie sa fie in rucsac, in costumul de schi sau in jurul taliei.
- distanta intre membrii echipei nu trebuie sa fie mai mare de 30 secunde.
- linia de sosire se trece impreuna.
14. Sosirea :
14.1. Sosirea in ambele etape va fi amenajata in Statiunea Borsa - Partia Olimpica.
14.2. Vor intra in clasamentele finale echipele care parcurg traseele celor doua etape, in intregime prin mijloace proprii si se incadreaza in timpii limita.
15. Clasamente / Premii :
15.1. Pentru Trofeul SkiTrab vor fi intocmite clasamente pe categorii: feminin (senioare+U20+U18), tineret masculin (U20+U18), seniori masculin, master (+40 ani), salvamont. Se vor acorda premii primelor trei echipe de la fiecare categorie.
15.2. Pentru Campionatul National de Echipe vor fi intocmite clasamente pe categorii: feminin, tineret, seniori masculin si master (40+ ani). Vor putea intra in clasamentele campionatului national doar sportivii legitimati la un club afiliat la Federatia Romana de Alpinism si Escalada. Se vor acorda premii primilor trei clasati la fiecare categorie.
15.3. In eventualitatea opririi cursei, clasamentul va fi stabilit conform ordinii si timpului la ultimul punct de control prin care au trecut primii sportivi/echipe. Pentru cei care nu au ajuns la acel punct, clasamentul va fi stabilit conform ordinii si timpului de la punctele de control precedente.
15.4. Toti cei care au incheiat cele doua etape vor primii medalia de finisher.
16. Conservarea naturii :
Trofeul SkiTrab se desfasoara in una din cele mai frumoase regiuni montane din Romania. Lasarea de resturi, ambalaje, echipament, pe parcursul traseelor si/sau distrugerea deliberata a mediului inconjurator vor atrage dupa sine descalificarea si interdictia de a mai participa la eveniment in viitor. Exceptie sunt zonele special amenajate si punctele de control.
17. Suporteri :
17.1. Suporterii pot incuraja verbal orice competitor cu conditia sa nu impiedice desfasurarea competitiei si sa respecte regulile, indicatiile autoritatiilor si/sau ale oficialilor.
17.2. Orice suport oferit de sau din vehicule in miscare este interzis.
18. Penalizari :
Daca este cazul penalizarile se vor cumula si se vor adauga la timpul final. Schimbarea echipamentului in timpul competitiei nu este permisa, cu exceptia betelor, schiurilor, legaturilor rupte, schimbul se poate face in orice punct al traseului. Echipamentul rupt care este lasat la un arbitru nu va aduce penalizari.
- nerespectarea marcajului, scurtarea traseului = descalificare
- ratarea unui punct de control (voluntar sau involuntar) = descalificare
- folosirea unei altfel de propulsii decat cea fizica = descalificare
- depasirea timpului limita = descalificare
- doping = descalificare
- nerespectarea mediului înconjurător = descalificare si interdictia de a mai participa la eveniment pe viitor.
- lipsa DVA sau DVA fara baterii, oprit sau in rucsac in timpul cursei = descalificare
- lopata / sonda / casca lipsa sau neconforme cu regulile = descalificare
- coltari / ham / kit via ferrata sau lonje cu carabiniere lipsa la start = descalificare
- lipsa oricarui alt articol din echipamentul obligatoriu prezentat la sedinta tehnica = 1 minut/articol
- modificarea numărului de concurs = descalificare
- primirea de asistenta din exterior in afara zonelor amenajate, exceptie bat/ski/legatura rupta = 3 minute
- nerespectarea indicatilor oficialilor de la start, de pe traseu, sosire = 3 minute
- mers fara coltari pe o sectiune obligatorie (exceptie un coltar rupt) = descalificare/3 min. coltar rupt
- piei de foca iesite in afara costumului sau a rucsacului = 3 minute
- chinga de siguranta de la coltari nelegata peste glezna = 3 minute
- coltari in afara rucsacului = 3 minute
- bete neasezate jos sau ridicate inainte de terminarea manevrelor in zona de tranzitie = 1 minut
- necuplarea corecta a carabinierelor pe o coarda de siguranta = 3 minute
- impingerea sau provocarea caderii unui alt competitor = cu intentie - descalificare / involuntar -1 minut
- neacordarea de asistenta unui sportiv aflat in nevoie sau in pericol = 3 minute
- jignirea sau lipsa de respect fata de alţi participanţi, oficiali, public, etc. = descalificare
- lipsa cip electronic (daca este folosit) = descalificare+plata garantie cip
- membrii unei echipe nu pleaca impreuna dintr-un punct de control = 1 minut pentru fiecare abatere
- distanta mai mare de 30 secunde intre coechipieri = 1 minut pentru fiecare abatere
- folosirea unei corzi de tractare in primele 15 min. dupa start, pe coborari sau in zone in care s-a anuntat ca este interzis acest lucru = 3 minute
- coarda de tractare atarnand afara din rucsac sau din costum = 1 minut
- membru al echipei care nu-si duce propriul echipament = descalificare
La acordarea penalizarilor vor fi luate in considerare declaratiile oficialilor, probele foto si video de pe traseu si din punctele de control. Declaratiile martorilor oculari pot fi luate deasemenea in considerare. O penalizare poate fi acordata si retroactiv, daca aceasta este descoperita ulterior, iar cel in cauza va trebui sa inapoieze eventualele premii sau beneficii. Taxa de participare nu se va rambursa in cazul descalificării.
19. Contestaţii :
Orice participant poate face o contestaţie împotriva altui participant care nu a respectat regulile competiţiei sau împotriva deciziilor oficialilor.
Contestaţia se va depune la biroul de Informaţii, in scris, la 15’ de la afişarea rezultatelor complete provizorii împreuna cu o taxa de 200 lei. Rezolvarea contestaţiei se va face in următoarele 30’. Taxa va fi înapoiata, daca contestaţia este acceptata.
Prin înscriere, plata si participare fiecare competitor confirma ca a citit, inteles si acceptat condiţiile de participare si aceste reguli, isi asuma riscurile participării la Trofeul SkiTrab 2023 si sunt responsabili pentru propriile acţiuni care ar trebui sa tina cont de circumstanţe relevante ca: condiţii meteo si de zăpada, schimbarea vremii, trafic, zona in care se afla si echipamentul pe care il foloseste. De asemenea accepta sa permita utilizarea imaginii sale in orice si toate scopurile cu privire la Trofeul SkiTrab.

SKI TRAB TROPHY 2023
These rules apply to the ski mountaineering race "SkiTrab Trophy 2023".
For the Team National Championship, these rules will be supplemented with FRAE's Ski Mountaineering Sports Regulations.
1. Features of the SkiTrab Trophy event:
The event is an outdoor competition with a pure mountain character. The routes are unimproved and unprotected, they are in the mountainous area and use: public roads, marked and unmarked trails, ski slopes, steep slopes and rugged areas, etc. Different segments of the routes pass through villages, forestry areas and clearings, alpine hollows (ridges, cols, steep couloirs, valleys, alpine terain, etc.). All these requires experience and special knowledge, such as:
- every participant should have at least a general experience about the mountain and about the mountain in winter time.
- every participant must have technical knowledge about ski mountaineering.
- any participant should be able to climb and descend on skis safely, a steep slope in different snow conditions.
- any participant must have the ability to safely complete a route in an alpine area.
- any participant should be experienced enough to pass a difficult alpine section (eg. a fixed rope passage).
- any participant should have a good sense of direction in mountainous terrain, even in bad weather conditions and reduced visibility. This means that each participant should be able to use a map and route information to reach safely.
- every participant should know the rules of behavior in case of danger and emergency in the mountain area.
- any participant should demonstrate fair play and friendship and act accordingly when the situation calls for it.
- every participant should know and have an attitude that takes into account the fact that no matter how many safety measures the organizers take, it is impossible to cover all risks resulting from the nature of the competitions, the environment and the conditions in which take place the event.
- any participant must know that no prize is above the health and life of himself and/or other participants and act accordingly to protect himself when he feels or observes a danger.
2. "SKI TRAB TROPHY 2023":
2.1. Ski mountaineering competition, time trial, for teams of 2 people, for licensed athletes and amateurs.
2.2. The 4th edition includes two stages:
- Stage 1: 18.03.2023
- Stage 2: 19.03.2023
2.3. Stage 1 counts for the 2023 Teams Ski Mountaineering National Championship
3. Environment / Routes:
3.1. The SkiTrab Trophy takes place in the Rodnei Mountains National Park and uses the following as competition routes and not only: public roads, forest roads, ski slopes, touristic paths arranged and not arranged, towns, meadows, forests, cuttings, alpine hollows, ridges, couloirs, steep slopes, ravines, valleys, alpine terrain.
3.2. The competition takes place on the mountains in a wild and unprotected space, therefore there is a risk of injury and/or death from the usual dangers for outdoor competitions. These include and are not limited to: collisions with vehicles, other vehicles, stones, rocks, trees, people, other objects; falls, slips, injuries caused by cold and/or heat, hypothermia, sunstroke, dehydration, frostbite, burns, altitude sickness, falling stones, avalanches of snow, stones and/or earth slides, storms, animals, fires, physical exertion.
3.3. The competition routes are not closed to other traffic participants (vehicles, pedestrians, tourists, skiers, animals and others). This fact imposes on the participants, the obligation to respect the rules of conduct in traffic.
3.4. The routes are marked with flags (15x15cm/20x20cm), with a height between 40-70cm of different
colors like this:
- green and/or blue flags for climbing on skis with skins on the skis.
- red flags for descents on skis with the skins removed from the skis.
- yellow flags for technical sections (ridges, couloirs) in ascent or descent on foot with skis attached to the backpack.
- 30x40cm yellow flags with diagonal black stripes for high-danger areas.
3.5. Routes may undergo changes for various reasons, which include weather and snow conditions, safety, traffic restrictions, etc.
3.6. Each participant has the obligation to follow the official routes, to respect the instructions of the referees, not to use shortcuts or other similar advantages.
3.7. The routes will be established, covered, marked and presented in the week before the competition.
4. Participants / Categories:
4.1. For SkiTrab Tropy the categories are: women (seniors+U20+U18), youth men(U20+U18), seniors men, master men (+40), mountain rescue.
4.2. For Teams National Championship the categories are: women (seniors+U20+U18), youth men(U20+U18), seniors men, master men (+40). Only the FRAE licensed athletes will enter to classifications.
4.3. The age reached on 31.12.2023 will be taken into account.
5. Mandatory equipment:
- Skis - minimum length 160 cm for men and 150 cm for women.
- Ski mountaineering bindings
Minimum weight for ski + binding: male 750g per piece. / female 700g per pc.
- Ski mountaineering boots - U18 athletes cannot compete with full carbon boots.
Minimum weight for the boot (shell + inner ice): male: 500g per piece / female: 450g per piece.
- Ski poles
- Skins - 2 pairs
- Three layers of clothing for the body, with long sleeves, of which a jacket.
- Two long pants, one of which protects against the wind (like overpants).
- DVA* - an avalanche transceiver according to the EN 300718 standard (457 kHz frequency). Each athlete must wear this device in direct contact with his body, under his clothes and fixed in the emission position for the entire duration of the race.
- Helmet* - complies with the UIAA 106 EN 12492 standard - mountaineering helmet.
- Avalanche shovel - (0.2m x 0.2m minimum), without modifications.
- Avalanche probe - minimum 240cm, without modifications.
- Survival blanket - minimum 1.80 square meters.
- Gloves - a pair to cover the whole hand and which will be worn throughout the race.
- Sunglasses / ski goggles.
- Backpack - with sufficient capacity for all the equipment required by these rules, with two straps/grips
for attaching skis.
- Cap or buff.
- Whistle
5.1. Additional equipment for the categories: senior men, youth men, master men, mountain rescue:
- Crampons* - a pair with at least 10 spikes, 2 of which are frontal. Straps are mandatory. If the crampons are not used, they must be carried in a backpack, packed spikes by spikes.
- Harness* that complies with the UIAA 105 standard, must not have any changes after leaving the factory.
- Via ferrata kit or two loops (longe) of one meter, with a minimum diameter of 8mm, connected to the harness, with a minimum 22kN UIAA certified carabiner at the other end.
- The fourth layer of clothes for the body with long sleeves and the right size for the competitor. It must be a thermal layer weighing at least 300g (down, fleece).
- Second pair of gloves, thermal and with wind protection.
- Compressive bandage without changes after leaving the factory.
Mandatory and additional equipment must be brought to the event. At the technical meeting in the evening of each day, the final equipment for the race will be announced. It will be checked at the start and arrival. The lack of each item of equipment will be penalized according to the penalties in point 18.
6. Race number:
6.1. The race number will be received at the registration, one day before the competition, after the participant has completed and signed the registration form, the declaration of responsibility and paid the registration fee.
6.2. The race number must be visible from the front during the entire race. The logos placed on the number must be visible.
6.3. The number must not be cut or modified in any way. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
6.4. The race number entitles you to participate in the pasta party that will take place after the race.
7. Validation/Briefing:
7.1. Registration validation will take place one day before the first stage between 18.00 - 20.00 and the next morning between 08.00 - 09.00 ( Borsa Ski Resort, Olympic Ski Slope - festive hall).
7.2. The technical meeting will take place in the evening before each stage, starting at 8:00 p.m. (Borsa Ski Resort, Olympic Ski Slope - festive hall). A short briefing where the possible news and changes will be transmitted, will take place before each start.
8. Timing:
8.1. Timing is done to the second.
8.2. The team time is given by the time in which the second teammate crosses the finish line.
8.3. The total time is given by the sum of the times obtained + possible penalties.
9. The start:
9.1. Stage 1: Saturday 18.03.2023 - 09.30 AM, Borsa Ski Resort, Olympic Ski Slope.
9.2. Stage 2: Sunday 19.03.2023 - 09.30 AM, Borsa Ski Resort, Olympic Ski Slope.
9.3. The starting area will open 20 minutes before the start time.
9.4. 3 separate sectors will be arranged:
- sector A - seniors men (including master men and mountain rescue);
- sector B – youth men (U20+U18)
- sector C - women (seniors+U20+U18).
The teams can choose their starting position within the sectors.
9.5. The two team members will enter the starting area together and only through the access gates.
9.6. Upon entering the starting area, the DVA and mandatory equipment will be checked. Each participant is marked on the start sheet. Those who do not appear on the start sheet will be considered absent from the start and will not be ranked.
9.7. Once entered, the participant/team must stay in the starting area.
9.8. The start will be open for 15 minutes after the official start time. Those who missed the start and will start the race in these 15 minutes must announce the start officials. Timing will be done according to the official start time. Participants who will start after 15 minutes will not enter the ranking.
10. Checkpoints:
Mandatory checkpoints are located on the route. Participants who do not pass through a control point in the natural order (regardless of the reason) will be disqualified. The race number of each competitor can be noted in the order of arrival, at each control point.
11. Time limit:
The time limits will be announced at the technical meeting, but they can be modified by the organizer in the event of a change in the weather or competition conditions. Any new introduction or change of the time limits will be announced before the start. The participants must pass the announced points by the set times, otherwise for their own safety they will be stopped from the race and instructed to retreat to safe areas.
12. Difficult areas:
12.1. The route may include areas with a high level of difficulty.
12.2. The organizer can request the reduction of speed and/or the passage with special attention in these areas. The organizer can place markings to draw attention to such an area and/or can use safety elements (fixed ropes, etc.).
13. Running the race:
13.1. The colors of the marking flags
- the sections marked with green/blue flags must be covered on ski with skins on.
- the sections marked with yellow flags must be covered on foot, with the skis on the backpack.
- the sections marked with red flags must be covered on skis, without skins on the ski. Boots they must be locked in the ski down position along the entire length of the section, with the exception of a broken boot.
13.2. The placed marking is indicative and directional, athletes must follow the marking closely both on the way up and on the way down.
13.3. Overpassing
- an athlete who is about to be overtaken and hears "free slope" must leave the trail clear and allow the athlete from behind to pass, except for areas where overtaking is not allowed (ridges, ropes sections).
13.4. Passage gates and couloirs
- if on the route (ascent or descent) there are passage gates or couloirs, the athletes must pass through them.
13.5. On foot section
- if crampons are mandatory on a foot section and a crampon takes off the boot, the athlete must stop immediately and reattach it.
- if the skis detach from the backpack, the athlete must stop immediately and reattach it.
13.6. Transition areas
- all maneuvers necessary to change from one mode of travel to another should be performed only inside the transition areas, without crossing the entry and exit lines. Exception: blocking the rear part of the ski binding can be done outside this area.
- after entering the transition area, before any maneuver, poles should be placed down; after finishing all the maneuvers, the poles can be raised.
13.7. Skins
- when not glued to the sole of the ski, the sealskins must be inside the ski suit or in the backpack, they can be visible but must not hang outside them. The only exception inside the transition areas. This also applies to spare skins.
13.8. DVA
- athletes must ensure that their device is in send mode and that it functions normally until after crossing the finish line and equipment control. If a DVA does not work normally, the athlete can be stopped immediately and disqualified.
13.9. Headphones are prohibited during the races.
13.10. The via ferrata / longe kit
In the sections with fixed ropes, athletes must be permanently attached to the fixed rope with one of the carabiners. At the anchor points encountered, first attach the second carabiner over the anchor point and only then detach the first carabiner. Any violation of this procedure will be penalized.
13.11. A race official may require at any point of the race that a certain article of clothing from the mandatory equipment be put on immediately.
13.12. Outside help is not allowed with the exception of:
- the change at any point of the route of broken poles, broken skis or defective bindings.
- food and drinks offered at specially arranged points.
- assistance provided between athletes in difficult or dangerous situations. The jury will take into account the time during which the assistance was granted.
13.13. Withdrawal from the race
- an athlete who is no longer able or does not want to continue the race can give up on his own initiative or forced by a decision of the race director, the race officials or the medical / mountain rescue staff. Withdrawal can be done at one of the control points, except in extreme cases.
- if one of the team members abandons, the other member must also abandon and follow the instructions given by the volunteers.
- the abandonment will be announced by the athlete at the control point and at the finish line
- any participant who abandons will be helped regarding the best withdrawal option, but is responsible for his own transport, the route he will use and the actions following the time and place of withdrawal, except for serious cases that do not allow travel by his own.
13.14. Specific rules for teams events
- members of a team must leave a control point / transition area together.
- each member of the team must carry his rucksack with all the equipment (except skis).
- one member can carry two pairs of skis if the backpack has two fastening systems.
- it is forbidden to use the tow rope in the first 15 minutes after the start, on descents and in the sections announced at the technical meeting.
- if it is not used, the tow rope must be in the backpack, in the ski suit or around the waist.
- the distance between team members must not be more than 30 seconds.
- the finish line is crossed together.
14. Arrival:
14.1. The arrival in both stages will be arranged in the Borsa Ski Resort - Olympic ski slope.
14.2. The teams that cover the routes of the two stages, entirely by their own means and within the time limit, will enter the final rankings.
15. Rankings / Prizes:
15.1. For the SkiTrab Trophy, classifications will be drawn up by category: women (seniors+U20+U18), youth men (U20+U18), seniors men, master men (+40 years), mountain rescue. Prizes will be awarded to the first three teams in each category.
15.2. For the Teams National Championship, classifications will be drawn up by category: women, youth men, senior men and master men (40+ years). Only athletes licensed at a sport club affiliated to the Romanian Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing will be able to enter the rankings of the national championship. Prizes will be awarded to the first three places in each category.
15.3. In the event of stopping the race, the ranking will be established according to the order and time at the last control point through which the first teams passed. For those who have not reached that point, the ranking will be established according to the order and time from the previous control points.
15.4. All those who finished the two stages will receive the finisher's medal.
16. Nature conservation:
The SkiTrab trophy takes place in one of the most beautiful mountain regions in Romania. Leaving debris, packaging, equipment, along the routes and/or the deliberate destruction of the environment will result in disqualification and the ban from participating in the event in the future. Exceptions are specially arranged areas and control points.
17. Supporters:
17.1. Supporters can verbally encourage any competitor with the condition that they do not hinder the race, respect the event rules, the indications of the authorities and/or the officials.
17.2. Any support provided by or from moving vehicles is prohibited.
18. Penalties:
If applicable, the penalties will be accumulated and added to the final time. Changing the equipment during the competition is not allowed, with the exception of broken poles, skis and bindings; the change can be made at any point of the route. Broken equipment that is left at a checkpoint/volunteer will not incur penalties.
- not respecting the marking, shortening the route = disqualification
- missing a control point (voluntary or involuntary) = disqualification
- using a different propulsion than the physical one = disqualification
- exceeding the time limit = disqualification
- doping = disqualification
- failure to respect the environment = disqualification and prohibition to participate in the event in the future.
- lack of DVA or DVA without batteries, stopped or in the backpack during the race = disqualification
- shovel / probe / helmet missing or not in accordance with the rules = disqualification
- crampons / harness / via ferrata kit or longe missing at the start = disqualification
- lack of any other item from the mandatory equipment presented at the technical session = 1 minute/item
- change of race number = disqualification
- receiving external assistance outside the designated areas, except changing broken pole/ski/binding = 3 minutes
- failure to comply with the instructions of the officials at the start/on the route/at arrival = 3 minutes
- walking without crampons on a mandatory section /except for a broken crampon = disqualification/3 min. broken crampon
- skins hanging out of the suit or backpack = 3 minutes
- the safety strap from the crampons not tied over the ankle = 3 minutes
- crampons outside the backpack = 3 minutes
- poles not placed on the ground at entrance or raised before the end of maneuvers in the transition area = 1 minute
- not correctly connecting the carabiners on a safety rope = 3 minutes
- pushing or causing another competitor to fall = with intention - disqualification / involuntary - 1 minute
- failure to provide assistance to an athlete in need or in danger = 3 minutes
- offending or disrespecting other participants, officials, public, etc. = disqualification
- lack of electronic chip (if used) = disqualification+payment of chip guarantee
- members of a team do not leave together from a control point = 1 minute for each violation
- distance greater than 30 seconds between teammates = 1 minute for each violation
- the use of a towing rope in the first 15 min. after the start, on descents or in areas where it has been announced that this is prohibited = 3 minutes
- tow rope hanging out of the backpack or suit = 1 minute
- team member who does not carry his own equipment = disqualification
The officials' statements, the photo and video evidence on the route and at the control points will be taken into account to give penalties. Eyewitness statements can also be taken into account. A penalty can also be granted retroactively, if it is discovered later, and the person in question will have to return any prizes or benefits. The participation fee will not be refunded in case of disqualification.
19. Appeals:
Any participant can make an appeal against another participant who did not respect the rules of the competition or against the decisions of the officials.
The appeal shall be submitted to the Information office, in writing, 15 minutes after the full provisional results are displayed, together with a fee of 200 lei. The appeal will be solved in the next 30 minutes. The fee will be refunded if the appeal is accepted.
By registering, paying and participating, each competitor confirms that they have read, understood and accepted the conditions of participation and these rules, they assume the risks of participating at the SkiTrab Trophy 2023 and are responsible for their own actions that should take into account relevant circumstances such as: weather conditions and snow, weather changes, traffic, the area he is in and the equipment he uses. He also agrees to allow the use of his image for any and all purposes regarding the SkiTrab Trophy events.
TROFEUL SKI TRAB 2023
Aceste reguli se aplica la cursa de schi alpinism „ Trofeul SkiTrab 2023”.
Pentru Campionatul National aceste reguli vor fi completate cu Regulamentul sportiv de schi alpinism al FRAE.
1. Caracteristici ale competiţiei Trofeul SkiTrab:
Evenimentul este o competiţie outdoor cu pur caracter montan. Traseele sunt neamenajate si neprotejate, sunt in zona montana si folosesc drumuri publice, poteci marcate si nemarcate, pârtii de schi, pante cu înclinare mare si zone accidentate, etc. Diferite segmente ale traseelor trec prin localitati, zone împădurite si tăieturi, gol alpin (creste, culoare, abrupturi, vai, pasuni alpine, jnepenişuri, etc.). Toate acestea necesita experienţa si cunostinte speciale, cum ar fi :
- orice participant sa aibă cel puţin o experienţa generala despre munte si despre munte in condiţii de iarna.
- orice participant sa aibă cunostinte tehnice despre schiul de tura.
- orice participant sa fie capabil sa urce si sa coboare pe schiuri in siguranţa, o panta înclinata in condiţii de zăpada diferita.
- orice participant sa aibă abilitatea sa parcurgă in siguranţa un traseu intr-o zona alpina.
- orice participant ar trebui sa fie îndeajuns de experimentat sa parcurgă un traseu alpin dificil (ex. un pasaj de corzi fixe ).
- orice participant ar trebui sa aibă un bun simt al direcţiei in teren montan, chiar si in condiţii de vreme rea si vizibilitate redusa. Aceasta înseamnă ca fiecare participant sa fie capabil sa folosească o harta si informaţiile despre trasee pentru a ajunge in siguranţa.
- orice participant ar trebui sa cunoască regulile de comportament in caz de pericol si urgenta in zona montana.
- orice participant ar trebui sa dea dovada de fair play si prietenie si sa acţioneze in consecinţa atunci când situaţia o cere.
- orice participant ar trebui sa ştie si sa aibă o atitudine care sa tina cont de faptul ca oricât de multe masuri de siguranţa ar lua organizatorii, nu sunt si nu vor putea fi acoperite toate riscurile rezultate din natura competitilor, mediul si condiţiile in care se desfasoara acestea.
- orice participant trebui sa ştie ca nici un premiu nu este mai presus de sănătatea si viata lui si/sau a altor participanţi si sa acţioneze in consecinţa pentru a se proteja atunci când simte sau observa un pericol.
2. „TROFEUL SKI TRAB 2023” :
2.1. Competiţie de schi alpinism, contracronometru, pe echipe de 2 persoane, pentru sportivi legitimaţi si amatori.
2.2. Editia a-IV-a cuprinde doua etape:
- Etapa 1: 18.03.2023
- Etapa 2: 19.03.2023
2.3. Etapa 1 conteaza pentru Campionatul National de Schi Alpinism 2023
3. Mediul de desfasurare / Trasee:
3.1. Trofeul Ski Trab se desfasoara in Parcul National Muntii Rodnei si foloseste ca trasee de concurs urmatoarele si nu numai: drumuri publice, drumuri forestiere, pârtii de schi, poteci turistice amenajate si neamenajate, localitati, pajisti, paduri, taieturi, gol alpin, creste, culoare, abrupturi, grohotisuri, vai, pasuni alpine.
3.2. Competiţia se desfasoara pe munte intr-un spaţiu neamenajat si neprotejat, de aceea exista un risc de rănire si/sau deces din pericole obişnuite pentru competiţiile outdoor. Acestea includ si nu se rezuma doar la: coliziuni cu autovehicule, alte vehicule, pietre, stânci, copaci, oameni, alte obiecte; căderi, alunecări, răni provocate de frig si/sau căldura, hipotermie, insolaţie, deshidratare, degerături, arsuri, rău de altitudine, căderi de pietre, avalanşe de zăpada, pietre si/sau pamant, furtuni, animale, incendii, efort fizic.
3.3. Traseele de concurs nu sunt închise altor participanţi la trafic (vehicule, pietoni, turişti, schiori, animale si alţii). Acest fapt atrage asupra participanţilor, obligaţia de a respecta regulile de conduita in trafic.
3.4. Traseele sunt marcate cu stegulete (15x15cm/20x20cm), cu inaltimea intre 40-70cm de diferite
culori, astfel:
- stegulete verzi si/sau albastre pentru urcare pe schiuri cu focile pe talpa schiurilor.
- stegulete rosii pentru coborari pe schiuri cu focile scoase de pe talpa schiurilor.
- stegulete galbene pentru sectiuni tehnice (creste, culoare) in urcare sau coborare pe picioare cu schiurile atasate pe rucsac.
- stegulete 30x40cm galbene cu dungi negre diagonale pentru zonele cu pericol ridicat.
3.5. Traseele pot suferi modificări din diferite motive, care includ condiţiile meteo si de zapada, siguranţa, restricţii de circulaţie, etc.
3.6. Fiecare participant are obligatia sa urmeze traseele oficiale, sa respecte indicatiile arbitrilor, sa nu foloseasca scurtaturi sau alte avantaje similare.
3.7. Traseele vor fi stabilite, parcurse, marcate si prezentate in saptamana dinaintea competiţiei.
4. Participanti / Categorii :
4.1. Pentru Trofeul SkiTrab: feminin (senioare+U20+U18), tineret (U20+U18), seniori masculin, master(40+), salvamont.
4.2. Pentru Campionatul National Echipe: feminin (senioare+U20+U18), tineret (U20+U18), seniori masculin, master(40+). In clasamentele pentru campionatul national vor intra doar echipele formate din sportivi legitimati la FRAE.
4.3. Va fi luată în considerare vârsta împlinită la data de 31.12.2023.
5. Echipament obligatoriu:
- Schiuri - minim 160 cm lungime pentru barbati si 150 cm pentru femei.
- Legaturi de tura
Greutate minima pentru schi + legatura: masculin 750g per buc. / feminin 700g per buc.
- Bocanci de tura - sportivii U18 nu pot concura cu bocanci full carbon.
Greutate minima pentru bocanc (coca + gheata int.): masculin: 500g per buc./ feminin: 450g per buc.
- Bete de schi
- Piei de foca - 2 perechi
- Trei straturi de haine pentru corp, cu maneca lunga, din care o haina de protectie contra vantului (geaca, etc.).
- Doi pantaloni lungi din care unul de protectie contra vantului (gen suprapantalon).
- DVA* - un transceiver pentru avalansa conform standardului EN 300718 (frecventa de 457 kHz). Fiecare sportiv trebuie sa poarte acest dispozitiv in contact direct cu corpul sau, pe sub haine si fixat pe pozitia emisie pe toata durata cursei.
- Casca*- conforma cu standardul UIAA 106 EN 12492 - casca alpinism.
- Lopata de avalansa - ( 0,2m x 0,2m minim ), fara modificari.
- Sonda de avalansa - de minim 240cm, fara modificari.
- Folie de supravietuire - de minim 1,80 metri patrati.
- Manusi - o pereche care sa acopere toata mana si care va fi purtata pe toata durata cursei.
- Ochelari de soare / ochelari de schi.
- Rucsac - cu capacitate suficienta pentru tot echipamentul cerut de prezentele reguli, cu doua prinderi
laterale/spate pentru atasarea schiurilor.
- Banderola sau caciula.
- Fluier
5.1. Echipament suplimentar pentru categoriile: echipe seniori, tineret, master:
- Coltari* - o pereche cu cel putin 10 colti din care 2 frontali. Curelele de siguranta sunt obligatorii. Daca coltarii nu sunt in picioare ei trebuie purtati in rucsac impachetati colt pe colt.
- Ham* care sa fie conform cu standardul UIAA 105, sa nu aiba modificari dupa iesirea din fabricatie.
- Kit de via ferrata sau doua bucle (lonje) de un metru, cu diametru minim de 8mm, legate de ham, avand la cealalta extremitate o carabiniera certificata UIAA de minim 22kN.
- Al patrulea rand de haine pentru corp cu maneca lunga si de marime potrivita competitorului. Trebuie sa fie un strat termic cu greutatea de minim 300g (pufoaica, polar).
- A doua pereche de manusi, termice si cu protectie impotriva vantului.
- Pansament compresiv fara modificari dupa iesirea din fabricatie.
Echipamentul obligatoriu si suplimentar trebuie adus la competitie. La sedinta tehnica din seara fiecarei zile se va anunta echipamentul final pentru cursa. Acesta va fi verificat la start si la sosire. Lipsa fiecărui articol de echipament va fi penalizata conform penalizarilor de la punctul 18.
6. Numar de concurs:
6.1. Numarul de concurs va fi primit in momentul validarii inscrierii, cu o zi inainte de competitie, dupa ce participantul a completat si semnat formularul de inscriere, declaratia de responsabilitate si a platit contravaloarea taxei de inscriere.
6.2. Numarul de concurs trebuie purtat si trebuie sa fie vizibil din fata pe toata durata cursei. Logourile plasate pe numar trebuie sa fie vizibile.
6.3. Numarul nu trebuie sa fie taiat sau modificat sub nici o forma. Nerespectarea acestui lucru va atrage dupa sine descalificarea.
6.4. Numarul de concurs da dreptul de a participa la pasta party care va avea loc dupa cursa.
7. Validare/ Briefing:
7.1. Validarea inscrierilor va avea loc cu o zi inaintea fiecarei probe intre orele 18.00 – 20.00 si dimineata inainte de cursa intre orele 08.00 - 09.00 (Partia Olimpica Statiunea Borsa - sala festivitati).
7.2. Sedinta tehnica va avea loc in seara dinaintea fiecarei probe cu incepere de la ora 20.00 (Partia Olimpica Statiunea Borsa - sala festivitati). Un scurt briefing unde se vor transmite eventualele noutati si modificari aparute, va avea loc inainte de start.
8. Cronometraj:
8.1. Cronometrajul se face la secunda.
8.2. Timpul echipei este dat de timpul in care cel de al doilea coechipier trece linia de sosire.
8.3. Timpul total este dat de suma timpilor obtinuti + eventualele penalizari.
9. Startul:
9.1. Etapa 1: sambata 18.03.2023, ora 09.30, Statiunea Borsa, Partia Olimpica.
9.2. Etapa 2: duminica 19.03.2023, ora 09.30, Statiunea Borsa, Partia Olimpica.
9.3. Zona de start se deschide cu 20 minute inainte de startul fiecarei probe.
9.4. Vor fi pregatite 3 sectoare separate:
- sectorul A - seniori masculin (inclusiv master si salvamont);
- sectorul B – tineret masculin (U20+U18)
- sectorul C - feminin (senioare+U20+U18).
Echipele isi pot alege pozitia de start in cadrul sectoarelor.
9.5. Cei doi membrii ai echipei vor intra in zona de start impreuna si doar prin portile de acces.
9.6. La intrarea in zona de start se va verifica DVA si echipamentul obligatoriu. Fiecare participant este bifat pe fisa de start. Cei care nu apar pe fisa de start vor fi considerati lipsa de la start si nu vor fi clasati.
9.7. Odata intrat, participantul/echipa trebuie sa ramana in zona de start.
9.8. Startul va fi deschis timp de 15 minute după ora oficiala de start. Cei care au pierdut startul si vor pleca in cursa in aceste 15 minute trebuie sa anunte la start. Cronometrajul se va face in acord cu ora oficiala de start. Participanţii care vor lua startul după cele 15 minute nu vor intra in clasament.
10. Puncte de control :
Pe traseu sunt amplasate puncte de control, obligatorii. Participantii care nu trec printr-un punct de control in ordinea fireasca (indiferent de motiv) vor fi descalificati. Numarul de concurs al fiecarui competitor poate fi notat in ordinea sosirii, la fiecare punct de control.
11. Timpi limita :
Timpii limita vor fi anuntati la sedinta tehnica, dar acestia pot fi modificati de organizator in cazul schimbarii vremii sau a conditiilor de concurs. Orice noua introducere sau schimbare a timpilor limita va fi anuntata inainte de start. Participantii trebuie sa treaca de punctele anuntate pana la orele fixate, altfel pentru propria securitate vor fi opriti din cursa si indrumati sa se retraga spre zone sigure.
12. Zone dificile:
12.1. Traseul poate include zone cu un ridicat nivel de dificultate.
12.2. Organizatorul poate solicita reducerea vitezei si/sau parcurgerea cu o atentie deosebita a acestor zone. Organizatorul poate amplasa marcaje care sa atentioneze o astfel de zona si/sau poate folosi elemente de siguranta (corzi fixe, etc.).
13. Desfasurarea cursei:
13.1. Culorile steguletelor de marcaj
- sectiunile marcate cu stegulete verzi/albastre trebuie parcurse pe schiuri cu pieile de foca pe talpa.
- sectiunile marcate cu stegulete galbene trebuie parcurse pe picioare, cu schiurile pe rucsac.
- sectiunile marcate cu stegulete rosii trebuie parcurse pe schiuri, fara piei de foca pe talpa. Bocancii
trebuie blocati in pozitia de coborare pe toata lungimea sectiunii, cu exceptia unui bocanc defect.
13.2. Marcajul amplasat este orientativ si directional, sportivii trebuie sa urmeze marcajul indeaproape atat in urcare cat si in coborare.
13.3. Depasirea
– un sportiv care este pe cale sa fie depasit si aude „partie” trebuie sa lase urma libera si sa permita trecerea sportivului din spate, exceptie zonele in care nu sunt permise depasirile (creste, zone cu corzi).
13.4. Porti/culoare de trecere
Daca pe traseu (in urcare sau coborare) sunt amplasate porti de fanioane/culoare de banda, sportivii trebuie sa treaca prin ele.
13.5. Sectiune pe picioare
- daca coltarii sunt obligatorii pe o sectiune pe picioare si un coltar se desprinde de pe bocanc, sportivul trebuie sa se opreasca imediat si sa il ataseze la loc.
- in cazul in care schiurile se desprind de pe rucsac, sportivul trebuie sa se opreasca imediat si sa le ataseze la loc.
13.6. Zonele de tranzitie
- toate manevrele necesare treceri de la un mod de deplasare la altul se efectueaza doar in interiorul zonelor de tranzitie, fara a calca liniile de intrare si iesire. Exceptie: blocarea partii din spate a legaturii se poate face in afara acestei zone.
- dupa intrarea in zona de tranzitie, inainte de orice manevra se aseaza jos betele; dupa incheierea tuturor manevrelor se pot ridica si betele.
13.7. Pieile de foca
Atunci cand nu sunt lipite pe talpa schiului, pieile de foca trebuie sa fie in interiorul costumului de schi sau in rucsac, pot fi vizibile dar nu trebuie sa atarne in afara acestora. Exceptie fac doar in zonele de tranzitie. Acest lucru se aplica si pieilor de rezerva.
13.8. DVA
Sportivi trebuie sa se asigure ca dispozitivul lor este in modul emisie si ca functioneaza normal pana dupa trecerea liniei de sosire si controlul echipamentului. Daca un DVA nu functioneaza normal, sportivul poate fi oprit imediat si descalificat.
13.9. Castile de urechi sunt interzise in timpul curselor.
13.10. Kitul de via ferrata/lonje
In sectiunile cu corzi fixe, unde asigurarea este obligatorie, sportivii trebuie sa fie atasati in permanenta la coarda fixa cu una din carabiniere. La punctele de ancorare intalnite, mai intai se ataseaza cea dea doua carabiniera peste punctul de ancorare si abia apoi se detaseaza prima carabiniera. Orice incalcare a acestei proceduri va fi penalizata.
13.11. Un oficial al cursei poate impune in orice punct al cursei ca un anumit articol de imbracaminte din echipamentul obligatoriu sa fie imbracat imediat.
13.12. Ajutorul din exterior nu este permis cu exceptia:
- schimbarii in orice punct al traseului a betelor si schiurilor rupte si a legaturilor defecte.
- alimentelor si bauturilor oferite in punctele special amenajate.
- asistentei oferite intre sportivi in situatii dificile sau de pericol. Juriul va tine seama de timpul in care s-a acordat asistenta.
13.13. Abandon / retragerea din cursa
- un sportiv care nu mai poate sau nu mai vrea sa continue cursa poate renunta din proprie initiativa sau fortat de o decizie a directorului de cursa, a inchizatorului de traseu sau a personalului medical/salvamont. Abandonul se poate face la unul din punctele de control, exceptand cazurile extreme.
- daca unul din membrii echipei abandoneaza, celalalt membru trebuie sa abandoneze si el si sa urmeze indicatiile date de voluntari.
- abandonul va fi anuntat de sportiv la punctul de control si la linia de sosire
- orice participant care abandoneaza va fi ajutat cu privire la cea mai buna varianta de retragere, dar este responsabil pentru transportul propriu, ruta pe care o va folosi si actiunile ulterioare momentului si locului retragerii, exceptie facand cazurile grave care nu permit deplasarea prin propriile mijloace.
13.14. Reguli specifice competitiilor pe echipe
- membrii unei echipe trebuie sa paraseasca impreuna un punct de control / zona de tranzitie.
- fiecare membru al echipei trebuie sa-si duca rucsacul cu tot echipamentul (cu exceptia schiurilor).
- un membru poate duce doua perechi de schiuri daca rucsacul are doua sisteme de prindere.
- este interzisa folosirea corzii de remorcare in primele 15 minute dupa start, pe coborari si in sectiunile anuntate la sedinta tehnica.
- daca nu este folosita, coarda de remorcare trebuie sa fie in rucsac, in costumul de schi sau in jurul taliei.
- distanta intre membrii echipei nu trebuie sa fie mai mare de 30 secunde.
- linia de sosire se trece impreuna.
14. Sosirea :
14.1. Sosirea in ambele etape va fi amenajata in Statiunea Borsa - Partia Olimpica.
14.2. Vor intra in clasamentele finale echipele care parcurg traseele celor doua etape, in intregime prin mijloace proprii si se incadreaza in timpii limita.
15. Clasamente / Premii :
15.1. Pentru Trofeul SkiTrab vor fi intocmite clasamente pe categorii: feminin (senioare+U20+U18), tineret masculin (U20+U18), seniori masculin, master (+40 ani), salvamont. Se vor acorda premii primelor trei echipe de la fiecare categorie.
15.2. Pentru Campionatul National de Echipe vor fi intocmite clasamente pe categorii: feminin, tineret, seniori masculin si master (40+ ani). Vor putea intra in clasamentele campionatului national doar sportivii legitimati la un club afiliat la Federatia Romana de Alpinism si Escalada. Se vor acorda premii primilor trei clasati la fiecare categorie.
15.3. In eventualitatea opririi cursei, clasamentul va fi stabilit conform ordinii si timpului la ultimul punct de control prin care au trecut primii sportivi/echipe. Pentru cei care nu au ajuns la acel punct, clasamentul va fi stabilit conform ordinii si timpului de la punctele de control precedente.
15.4. Toti cei care au incheiat cele doua etape vor primii medalia de finisher.
16. Conservarea naturii :
Trofeul SkiTrab se desfasoara in una din cele mai frumoase regiuni montane din Romania. Lasarea de resturi, ambalaje, echipament, pe parcursul traseelor si/sau distrugerea deliberata a mediului inconjurator vor atrage dupa sine descalificarea si interdictia de a mai participa la eveniment in viitor. Exceptie sunt zonele special amenajate si punctele de control.
17. Suporteri :
17.1. Suporterii pot incuraja verbal orice competitor cu conditia sa nu impiedice desfasurarea competitiei si sa respecte regulile, indicatiile autoritatiilor si/sau ale oficialilor.
17.2. Orice suport oferit de sau din vehicule in miscare este interzis.
18. Penalizari :
Daca este cazul penalizarile se vor cumula si se vor adauga la timpul final. Schimbarea echipamentului in timpul competitiei nu este permisa, cu exceptia betelor, schiurilor, legaturilor rupte, schimbul se poate face in orice punct al traseului. Echipamentul rupt care este lasat la un arbitru nu va aduce penalizari.
- nerespectarea marcajului, scurtarea traseului = descalificare
- ratarea unui punct de control (voluntar sau involuntar) = descalificare
- folosirea unei altfel de propulsii decat cea fizica = descalificare
- depasirea timpului limita = descalificare
- doping = descalificare
- nerespectarea mediului înconjurător = descalificare si interdictia de a mai participa la eveniment pe viitor.
- lipsa DVA sau DVA fara baterii, oprit sau in rucsac in timpul cursei = descalificare
- lopata / sonda / casca lipsa sau neconforme cu regulile = descalificare
- coltari / ham / kit via ferrata sau lonje cu carabiniere lipsa la start = descalificare
- lipsa oricarui alt articol din echipamentul obligatoriu prezentat la sedinta tehnica = 1 minut/articol
- modificarea numărului de concurs = descalificare
- primirea de asistenta din exterior in afara zonelor amenajate, exceptie bat/ski/legatura rupta = 3 minute
- nerespectarea indicatilor oficialilor de la start, de pe traseu, sosire = 3 minute
- mers fara coltari pe o sectiune obligatorie (exceptie un coltar rupt) = descalificare/3 min. coltar rupt
- piei de foca iesite in afara costumului sau a rucsacului = 3 minute
- chinga de siguranta de la coltari nelegata peste glezna = 3 minute
- coltari in afara rucsacului = 3 minute
- bete neasezate jos sau ridicate inainte de terminarea manevrelor in zona de tranzitie = 1 minut
- necuplarea corecta a carabinierelor pe o coarda de siguranta = 3 minute
- impingerea sau provocarea caderii unui alt competitor = cu intentie - descalificare / involuntar -1 minut
- neacordarea de asistenta unui sportiv aflat in nevoie sau in pericol = 3 minute
- jignirea sau lipsa de respect fata de alţi participanţi, oficiali, public, etc. = descalificare
- lipsa cip electronic (daca este folosit) = descalificare+plata garantie cip
- membrii unei echipe nu pleaca impreuna dintr-un punct de control = 1 minut pentru fiecare abatere
- distanta mai mare de 30 secunde intre coechipieri = 1 minut pentru fiecare abatere
- folosirea unei corzi de tractare in primele 15 min. dupa start, pe coborari sau in zone in care s-a anuntat ca este interzis acest lucru = 3 minute
- coarda de tractare atarnand afara din rucsac sau din costum = 1 minut
- membru al echipei care nu-si duce propriul echipament = descalificare
La acordarea penalizarilor vor fi luate in considerare declaratiile oficialilor, probele foto si video de pe traseu si din punctele de control. Declaratiile martorilor oculari pot fi luate deasemenea in considerare. O penalizare poate fi acordata si retroactiv, daca aceasta este descoperita ulterior, iar cel in cauza va trebui sa inapoieze eventualele premii sau beneficii. Taxa de participare nu se va rambursa in cazul descalificării.
19. Contestaţii :
Orice participant poate face o contestaţie împotriva altui participant care nu a respectat regulile competiţiei sau împotriva deciziilor oficialilor.
Contestaţia se va depune la biroul de Informaţii, in scris, la 15’ de la afişarea rezultatelor complete provizorii împreuna cu o taxa de 200 lei. Rezolvarea contestaţiei se va face in următoarele 30’. Taxa va fi înapoiata, daca contestaţia este acceptata.
Prin înscriere, plata si participare fiecare competitor confirma ca a citit, inteles si acceptat condiţiile de participare si aceste reguli, isi asuma riscurile participării la Trofeul SkiTrab 2023 si sunt responsabili pentru propriile acţiuni care ar trebui sa tina cont de circumstanţe relevante ca: condiţii meteo si de zăpada, schimbarea vremii, trafic, zona in care se afla si echipamentul pe care il foloseste. De asemenea accepta sa permita utilizarea imaginii sale in orice si toate scopurile cu privire la Trofeul SkiTrab.

SKI TRAB TROPHY 2023
These rules apply to the ski mountaineering race "SkiTrab Trophy 2023".
For the Team National Championship, these rules will be supplemented with FRAE's Ski Mountaineering Sports Regulations.
1. Features of the SkiTrab Trophy event:
The event is an outdoor competition with a pure mountain character. The routes are unimproved and unprotected, they are in the mountainous area and use: public roads, marked and unmarked trails, ski slopes, steep slopes and rugged areas, etc. Different segments of the routes pass through villages, forestry areas and clearings, alpine hollows (ridges, cols, steep couloirs, valleys, alpine terain, etc.). All these requires experience and special knowledge, such as:
- every participant should have at least a general experience about the mountain and about the mountain in winter time.
- every participant must have technical knowledge about ski mountaineering.
- any participant should be able to climb and descend on skis safely, a steep slope in different snow conditions.
- any participant must have the ability to safely complete a route in an alpine area.
- any participant should be experienced enough to pass a difficult alpine section (eg. a fixed rope passage).
- any participant should have a good sense of direction in mountainous terrain, even in bad weather conditions and reduced visibility. This means that each participant should be able to use a map and route information to reach safely.
- every participant should know the rules of behavior in case of danger and emergency in the mountain area.
- any participant should demonstrate fair play and friendship and act accordingly when the situation calls for it.
- every participant should know and have an attitude that takes into account the fact that no matter how many safety measures the organizers take, it is impossible to cover all risks resulting from the nature of the competitions, the environment and the conditions in which take place the event.
- any participant must know that no prize is above the health and life of himself and/or other participants and act accordingly to protect himself when he feels or observes a danger.
2. "SKI TRAB TROPHY 2023":
2.1. Ski mountaineering competition, time trial, for teams of 2 people, for licensed athletes and amateurs.
2.2. The 4th edition includes two stages:
- Stage 1: 18.03.2023
- Stage 2: 19.03.2023
2.3. Stage 1 counts for the 2023 Teams Ski Mountaineering National Championship
3. Environment / Routes:
3.1. The SkiTrab Trophy takes place in the Rodnei Mountains National Park and uses the following as competition routes and not only: public roads, forest roads, ski slopes, touristic paths arranged and not arranged, towns, meadows, forests, cuttings, alpine hollows, ridges, couloirs, steep slopes, ravines, valleys, alpine terrain.
3.2. The competition takes place on the mountains in a wild and unprotected space, therefore there is a risk of injury and/or death from the usual dangers for outdoor competitions. These include and are not limited to: collisions with vehicles, other vehicles, stones, rocks, trees, people, other objects; falls, slips, injuries caused by cold and/or heat, hypothermia, sunstroke, dehydration, frostbite, burns, altitude sickness, falling stones, avalanches of snow, stones and/or earth slides, storms, animals, fires, physical exertion.
3.3. The competition routes are not closed to other traffic participants (vehicles, pedestrians, tourists, skiers, animals and others). This fact imposes on the participants, the obligation to respect the rules of conduct in traffic.
3.4. The routes are marked with flags (15x15cm/20x20cm), with a height between 40-70cm of different
colors like this:
- green and/or blue flags for climbing on skis with skins on the skis.
- red flags for descents on skis with the skins removed from the skis.
- yellow flags for technical sections (ridges, couloirs) in ascent or descent on foot with skis attached to the backpack.
- 30x40cm yellow flags with diagonal black stripes for high-danger areas.
3.5. Routes may undergo changes for various reasons, which include weather and snow conditions, safety, traffic restrictions, etc.
3.6. Each participant has the obligation to follow the official routes, to respect the instructions of the referees, not to use shortcuts or other similar advantages.
3.7. The routes will be established, covered, marked and presented in the week before the competition.
4. Participants / Categories:
4.1. For SkiTrab Tropy the categories are: women (seniors+U20+U18), youth men(U20+U18), seniors men, master men (+40), mountain rescue.
4.2. For Teams National Championship the categories are: women (seniors+U20+U18), youth men(U20+U18), seniors men, master men (+40). Only the FRAE licensed athletes will enter to classifications.
4.3. The age reached on 31.12.2023 will be taken into account.
5. Mandatory equipment:
- Skis - minimum length 160 cm for men and 150 cm for women.
- Ski mountaineering bindings
Minimum weight for ski + binding: male 750g per piece. / female 700g per pc.
- Ski mountaineering boots - U18 athletes cannot compete with full carbon boots.
Minimum weight for the boot (shell + inner ice): male: 500g per piece / female: 450g per piece.
- Ski poles
- Skins - 2 pairs
- Three layers of clothing for the body, with long sleeves, of which a jacket.
- Two long pants, one of which protects against the wind (like overpants).
- DVA* - an avalanche transceiver according to the EN 300718 standard (457 kHz frequency). Each athlete must wear this device in direct contact with his body, under his clothes and fixed in the emission position for the entire duration of the race.
- Helmet* - complies with the UIAA 106 EN 12492 standard - mountaineering helmet.
- Avalanche shovel - (0.2m x 0.2m minimum), without modifications.
- Avalanche probe - minimum 240cm, without modifications.
- Survival blanket - minimum 1.80 square meters.
- Gloves - a pair to cover the whole hand and which will be worn throughout the race.
- Sunglasses / ski goggles.
- Backpack - with sufficient capacity for all the equipment required by these rules, with two straps/grips
for attaching skis.
- Cap or buff.
- Whistle
5.1. Additional equipment for the categories: senior men, youth men, master men, mountain rescue:
- Crampons* - a pair with at least 10 spikes, 2 of which are frontal. Straps are mandatory. If the crampons are not used, they must be carried in a backpack, packed spikes by spikes.
- Harness* that complies with the UIAA 105 standard, must not have any changes after leaving the factory.
- Via ferrata kit or two loops (longe) of one meter, with a minimum diameter of 8mm, connected to the harness, with a minimum 22kN UIAA certified carabiner at the other end.
- The fourth layer of clothes for the body with long sleeves and the right size for the competitor. It must be a thermal layer weighing at least 300g (down, fleece).
- Second pair of gloves, thermal and with wind protection.
- Compressive bandage without changes after leaving the factory.
Mandatory and additional equipment must be brought to the event. At the technical meeting in the evening of each day, the final equipment for the race will be announced. It will be checked at the start and arrival. The lack of each item of equipment will be penalized according to the penalties in point 18.
6. Race number:
6.1. The race number will be received at the registration, one day before the competition, after the participant has completed and signed the registration form, the declaration of responsibility and paid the registration fee.
6.2. The race number must be visible from the front during the entire race. The logos placed on the number must be visible.
6.3. The number must not be cut or modified in any way. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
6.4. The race number entitles you to participate in the pasta party that will take place after the race.
7. Validation/Briefing:
7.1. Registration validation will take place one day before the first stage between 18.00 - 20.00 and the next morning between 08.00 - 09.00 ( Borsa Ski Resort, Olympic Ski Slope - festive hall).
7.2. The technical meeting will take place in the evening before each stage, starting at 8:00 p.m. (Borsa Ski Resort, Olympic Ski Slope - festive hall). A short briefing where the possible news and changes will be transmitted, will take place before each start.
8. Timing:
8.1. Timing is done to the second.
8.2. The team time is given by the time in which the second teammate crosses the finish line.
8.3. The total time is given by the sum of the times obtained + possible penalties.
9. The start:
9.1. Stage 1: Saturday 18.03.2023 - 09.30 AM, Borsa Ski Resort, Olympic Ski Slope.
9.2. Stage 2: Sunday 19.03.2023 - 09.30 AM, Borsa Ski Resort, Olympic Ski Slope.
9.3. The starting area will open 20 minutes before the start time.
9.4. 3 separate sectors will be arranged:
- sector A - seniors men (including master men and mountain rescue);
- sector B – youth men (U20+U18)
- sector C - women (seniors+U20+U18).
The teams can choose their starting position within the sectors.
9.5. The two team members will enter the starting area together and only through the access gates.
9.6. Upon entering the starting area, the DVA and mandatory equipment will be checked. Each participant is marked on the start sheet. Those who do not appear on the start sheet will be considered absent from the start and will not be ranked.
9.7. Once entered, the participant/team must stay in the starting area.
9.8. The start will be open for 15 minutes after the official start time. Those who missed the start and will start the race in these 15 minutes must announce the start officials. Timing will be done according to the official start time. Participants who will start after 15 minutes will not enter the ranking.
10. Checkpoints:
Mandatory checkpoints are located on the route. Participants who do not pass through a control point in the natural order (regardless of the reason) will be disqualified. The race number of each competitor can be noted in the order of arrival, at each control point.
11. Time limit:
The time limits will be announced at the technical meeting, but they can be modified by the organizer in the event of a change in the weather or competition conditions. Any new introduction or change of the time limits will be announced before the start. The participants must pass the announced points by the set times, otherwise for their own safety they will be stopped from the race and instructed to retreat to safe areas.
12. Difficult areas:
12.1. The route may include areas with a high level of difficulty.
12.2. The organizer can request the reduction of speed and/or the passage with special attention in these areas. The organizer can place markings to draw attention to such an area and/or can use safety elements (fixed ropes, etc.).
13. Running the race:
13.1. The colors of the marking flags
- the sections marked with green/blue flags must be covered on ski with skins on.
- the sections marked with yellow flags must be covered on foot, with the skis on the backpack.
- the sections marked with red flags must be covered on skis, without skins on the ski. Boots they must be locked in the ski down position along the entire length of the section, with the exception of a broken boot.
13.2. The placed marking is indicative and directional, athletes must follow the marking closely both on the way up and on the way down.
13.3. Overpassing
- an athlete who is about to be overtaken and hears "free slope" must leave the trail clear and allow the athlete from behind to pass, except for areas where overtaking is not allowed (ridges, ropes sections).
13.4. Passage gates and couloirs
- if on the route (ascent or descent) there are passage gates or couloirs, the athletes must pass through them.
13.5. On foot section
- if crampons are mandatory on a foot section and a crampon takes off the boot, the athlete must stop immediately and reattach it.
- if the skis detach from the backpack, the athlete must stop immediately and reattach it.
13.6. Transition areas
- all maneuvers necessary to change from one mode of travel to another should be performed only inside the transition areas, without crossing the entry and exit lines. Exception: blocking the rear part of the ski binding can be done outside this area.
- after entering the transition area, before any maneuver, poles should be placed down; after finishing all the maneuvers, the poles can be raised.
13.7. Skins
- when not glued to the sole of the ski, the sealskins must be inside the ski suit or in the backpack, they can be visible but must not hang outside them. The only exception inside the transition areas. This also applies to spare skins.
13.8. DVA
- athletes must ensure that their device is in send mode and that it functions normally until after crossing the finish line and equipment control. If a DVA does not work normally, the athlete can be stopped immediately and disqualified.
13.9. Headphones are prohibited during the races.
13.10. The via ferrata / longe kit
In the sections with fixed ropes, athletes must be permanently attached to the fixed rope with one of the carabiners. At the anchor points encountered, first attach the second carabiner over the anchor point and only then detach the first carabiner. Any violation of this procedure will be penalized.
13.11. A race official may require at any point of the race that a certain article of clothing from the mandatory equipment be put on immediately.
13.12. Outside help is not allowed with the exception of:
- the change at any point of the route of broken poles, broken skis or defective bindings.
- food and drinks offered at specially arranged points.
- assistance provided between athletes in difficult or dangerous situations. The jury will take into account the time during which the assistance was granted.
13.13. Withdrawal from the race
- an athlete who is no longer able or does not want to continue the race can give up on his own initiative or forced by a decision of the race director, the race officials or the medical / mountain rescue staff. Withdrawal can be done at one of the control points, except in extreme cases.
- if one of the team members abandons, the other member must also abandon and follow the instructions given by the volunteers.
- the abandonment will be announced by the athlete at the control point and at the finish line
- any participant who abandons will be helped regarding the best withdrawal option, but is responsible for his own transport, the route he will use and the actions following the time and place of withdrawal, except for serious cases that do not allow travel by his own.
13.14. Specific rules for teams events
- members of a team must leave a control point / transition area together.
- each member of the team must carry his rucksack with all the equipment (except skis).
- one member can carry two pairs of skis if the backpack has two fastening systems.
- it is forbidden to use the tow rope in the first 15 minutes after the start, on descents and in the sections announced at the technical meeting.
- if it is not used, the tow rope must be in the backpack, in the ski suit or around the waist.
- the distance between team members must not be more than 30 seconds.
- the finish line is crossed together.
14. Arrival:
14.1. The arrival in both stages will be arranged in the Borsa Ski Resort - Olympic ski slope.
14.2. The teams that cover the routes of the two stages, entirely by their own means and within the time limit, will enter the final rankings.
15. Rankings / Prizes:
15.1. For the SkiTrab Trophy, classifications will be drawn up by category: women (seniors+U20+U18), youth men (U20+U18), seniors men, master men (+40 years), mountain rescue. Prizes will be awarded to the first three teams in each category.
15.2. For the Teams National Championship, classifications will be drawn up by category: women, youth men, senior men and master men (40+ years). Only athletes licensed at a sport club affiliated to the Romanian Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing will be able to enter the rankings of the national championship. Prizes will be awarded to the first three places in each category.
15.3. In the event of stopping the race, the ranking will be established according to the order and time at the last control point through which the first teams passed. For those who have not reached that point, the ranking will be established according to the order and time from the previous control points.
15.4. All those who finished the two stages will receive the finisher's medal.
16. Nature conservation:
The SkiTrab trophy takes place in one of the most beautiful mountain regions in Romania. Leaving debris, packaging, equipment, along the routes and/or the deliberate destruction of the environment will result in disqualification and the ban from participating in the event in the future. Exceptions are specially arranged areas and control points.
17. Supporters:
17.1. Supporters can verbally encourage any competitor with the condition that they do not hinder the race, respect the event rules, the indications of the authorities and/or the officials.
17.2. Any support provided by or from moving vehicles is prohibited.
18. Penalties:
If applicable, the penalties will be accumulated and added to the final time. Changing the equipment during the competition is not allowed, with the exception of broken poles, skis and bindings; the change can be made at any point of the route. Broken equipment that is left at a checkpoint/volunteer will not incur penalties.
- not respecting the marking, shortening the route = disqualification
- missing a control point (voluntary or involuntary) = disqualification
- using a different propulsion than the physical one = disqualification
- exceeding the time limit = disqualification
- doping = disqualification
- failure to respect the environment = disqualification and prohibition to participate in the event in the future.
- lack of DVA or DVA without batteries, stopped or in the backpack during the race = disqualification
- shovel / probe / helmet missing or not in accordance with the rules = disqualification
- crampons / harness / via ferrata kit or longe missing at the start = disqualification
- lack of any other item from the mandatory equipment presented at the technical session = 1 minute/item
- change of race number = disqualification
- receiving external assistance outside the designated areas, except changing broken pole/ski/binding = 3 minutes
- failure to comply with the instructions of the officials at the start/on the route/at arrival = 3 minutes
- walking without crampons on a mandatory section /except for a broken crampon = disqualification/3 min. broken crampon
- skins hanging out of the suit or backpack = 3 minutes
- the safety strap from the crampons not tied over the ankle = 3 minutes
- crampons outside the backpack = 3 minutes
- poles not placed on the ground at entrance or raised before the end of maneuvers in the transition area = 1 minute
- not correctly connecting the carabiners on a safety rope = 3 minutes
- pushing or causing another competitor to fall = with intention - disqualification / involuntary - 1 minute
- failure to provide assistance to an athlete in need or in danger = 3 minutes
- offending or disrespecting other participants, officials, public, etc. = disqualification
- lack of electronic chip (if used) = disqualification+payment of chip guarantee
- members of a team do not leave together from a control point = 1 minute for each violation
- distance greater than 30 seconds between teammates = 1 minute for each violation
- the use of a towing rope in the first 15 min. after the start, on descents or in areas where it has been announced that this is prohibited = 3 minutes
- tow rope hanging out of the backpack or suit = 1 minute
- team member who does not carry his own equipment = disqualification
The officials' statements, the photo and video evidence on the route and at the control points will be taken into account to give penalties. Eyewitness statements can also be taken into account. A penalty can also be granted retroactively, if it is discovered later, and the person in question will have to return any prizes or benefits. The participation fee will not be refunded in case of disqualification.
19. Appeals:
Any participant can make an appeal against another participant who did not respect the rules of the competition or against the decisions of the officials.
The appeal shall be submitted to the Information office, in writing, 15 minutes after the full provisional results are displayed, together with a fee of 200 lei. The appeal will be solved in the next 30 minutes. The fee will be refunded if the appeal is accepted.
By registering, paying and participating, each competitor confirms that they have read, understood and accepted the conditions of participation and these rules, they assume the risks of participating at the SkiTrab Trophy 2023 and are responsible for their own actions that should take into account relevant circumstances such as: weather conditions and snow, weather changes, traffic, the area he is in and the equipment he uses. He also agrees to allow the use of his image for any and all purposes regarding the SkiTrab Trophy events.
